An Óige Photographic Group Diary of Events – February 2019

All Wednesday Night Functions, unless otherwise stated, take place in Room 102, (Conference Room), Dublin International Hostel, 61 Mountjoy Street, Dublin 7. Bus No’s 38, 46A and 120, from the City Centre to the door. Car park to the rear of the Hostel.

Photographic Outing to St. Stephen’s Green.

Meet: At the main entrance to St. Stephen’s Green (Top of Grafton Street), @ 2pm.

Bring: Camera, camera phone, tripod (if you have one).

Wear: Warm clothes, including hat & gloves.

“The Coolattin Estate and the Kennedy Connection”

Presentation by Gerry McCarthy, Chairman Naas History Society.

This illustrated talk will explore the relationship between the Fitzwilliam Family of Coolattin Estate, Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow and Kathleen Kennedy (Kick) Sister of John F. Kennedy, President of The United States of America.

Club Night.

Members, especially novices, who entered images in the last 4 Monthly League competitions should bring down those images on a USB Stick and their laptops, so that they can get help to correct the faults pointed out by the Judges.

N.B: Entries for the Six Monthly League Competition No.5 should be submitted between 7.30pm and 8pm.

The Membership Subscription for the Photographic Group is €25 for those over 25 years of age, and €15 for those under 25 years of age.

Please note the Membership of An Óige is a prerequisite for joining the Photographic Group. Membership Fees for An Óige are as follows: €25 for those over 25 years of age, and €15 for those under 25 years of age.
