Basing your overnight event at one of our hostels is a great way to introduce children to the great outdoors without crazy spending and too much organising. An Óige is great value, providing all the facilities required for a comfortable and fun break at low price.
While many youth groups do valuable work with young people in their local communities, it could be an interesting alternative to get these young people out into the countryside or on a city break, away from everyday life. Our hostels are the perfect place to create and enjoy different experiences. Especially, because we are used to accommodating groups, but we also understand that cost is an important consideration for youth groups.
Why stay with us:
Accessible and remote rural accommodation
Hostels providing our near expert activity providers
Low cost accommodation and low cost food
Private rooms available for youth group leaders
Great connections with activity providers
Self-catering kitchens and dining rooms
Meals and packed lunches available
Free young person’s group membership
Hostels we recommend for your type of group are Errigal, Killarney, Glendalough, Knockree, Cape Clear, Dun Chaoin, The Connemara Hostel, Go Explore Hostel, Ballyhoura Luxury Hostel, Cashel and our two volunteer led hostels Ben Lettery (Connemara) and Trá na Rosann.
