Scouts and Guides
Scouts and guides, the adventure starts here. Through our hostelling network and its options for Scouts, Girl Guides and Venture Scouts alike, we can help young people to enjoy new adventures, get into the great outdoors and make memories to cherish forever.
An Óige Hostels are the ideal base for a guide or scout break, providing all the facilities you need in locations which are perfect for countryside activities – and all at prices which guide and scout groups can afford! We handpick our scouting hostels specifically for their access to the facilities we know you’ll need: outdoor and sporting activities such as kayaking, hiking, climbing and our friendly staff can even help to organise an itinerary of activities suited to your trip – you might want a jam packed programme or take the opportunity to work towards that Adventure or Special Interest badge.
We have nearby access to educational resources such as museums, and can cater for groups by providing packed lunches or give them access to the self-catering kitchen to hone their culinary skills. We also understand that leaders and drivers need their down-time as well – we have private rooms available for you at all of our hostels, along with parking facilities for larger vehicles. Come and take a look!
