Day 1
Failte go dtí Baile Atha Cliath! Welcome to Dublin!
One check in at the Dublin International Hostel receive a Welcome Pack from our Reception Team! This includes a map, all tour tickets and any other information you may need during your stay!
Explore Dublin City with the Hop On Hop Off City Bus Tour. Your pass can be used for 2 days and there are more than 20 stops at Dublin’s top visitor attractions so you can use this ticket at your own leisure. There’s also a pick up every morning directly outside the Dublin International Hostel for your convenience!
The Discover Dublin Package also includes entry to Guinness Storehouse – Dublin’s number 1 visitor attraction. This is also a stop on the Hop on Hop off Tour so you can spend the afternoon here and take the incredible journey through the history and making of the world famous beer. Enjoy your free pint of Guinness in their famous Gravity bar whilst sampling views of the city with their 360 degree views of Dublin city! For those of you under the age of 18-don’t worry you won’t be left out, you won’t get a pint but you will get a soft drink!
1st night in the Dublin International Hostel
Day 2
Start the day with a Continental Breakfast in The Church Restaurant – the hostel restaurant that actually used to be a church! Breakfast is served from 7 am – 10.30 am.
After breakfast, enjoy the day maybe seeing any stops that you missed out on the previous day on the Hop On Hop Off Tour. You can also hit the local shopping districts of O’Connell, Henry and Grafton Street for some retail therapy! Pay a visit to some of the cafés or art shops and galleries in a thriving Temple Bar or relax and unwind in St Stephen’s Green, Phoenix Park or the Gardens of Remembrance.
Wind down at your own leisure or visit McGowan’s pub – only five minutes from the hostel with free entry for all Dublin International Hostel guests before 10pm and special offers such as Free Irish coffee after any main meal.
2nd night in the Dublin International Hostel
Day 3
Start the day by filling up with a Continental Breakfast in The Church Restaurant – the hostel restaurant that actually used to be a church! Breakfast is served from 7 am – 10 am.
Make your way to the Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street @ 9.10am for your tour discovering “The Garden of Ireland”, County Wicklow. The tour starts over the Dublin Mountains and into the picturesque Sally Gap. Experience breathtaking views with complimentary coffee!
Stop where you like and when you like along the route. See the famous film locations for Braveheart and Ballykissangel. Visit hidden lakes and luscious waterfalls. Travel the by-roads to beautiful Glendalough and after a healthy walk, time for lunch (not included in price) and a drop of the famous brew.
Returning home via the depths of the Wicklow Mountains passing the scenic lakes of Blessington. Tour ends at 5.30pm on O’Connell Street or you can be dropped back at the Dublin Hostel if your feet are too tired!
