Our Quality Awarded Dublin Hostel (YHA Dublin) is open 24 hours 365 days a year with FREE breakfast and FREE WiFi. One of the best Dublin hostels for international guests as it is a great base from which to visit Dublin city. With FREE secure guest parking and only a five minute walk to the city centre and the main Dublin tourist attractions. Our friendly staff can offer the best recommendations and discounts for things to do while visiting Dublin.

All guests get a FREE continental breakfast served daily in our Church restaurant and our chef also makes home-cooked meals for groups of 10 or more. The hostel is especially well-suited for groups and there’s lots of family rooms available too but all guests are given a warm and friendly international welcome. The hostel is safe and secure (with a FREE gated car park) and because the hostel is a short walk from Dublin city centre you can be sure of a good night’s sleep without any noise from outside keeping you awake!

This Dublin Hostel actually used to be a convent and was converted into a Youth Hostel with just under 300 beds but it still has “The Church” as our restaurant – complete with stained-glass windows and confession boxes!

Our Dublin Hostel is also just across the road from the infamous Black Church which is mentioned in James Joyce’s Ulysses. It was also the favorite Church of infamous English Poet Sir John Betjeman and the Dubliner Austin Clarke who refers to the local lore in his autobiography (called “Twice round the Black Church”) which says that if you walk counter clockwise around the church three times at midnight, you will summon the devil himself!! However we don’t suggest you try this!

The Dublin International Hostel is widely known for its friendly and helpful staff -it is no wonder we were awarded the HI-Quality Award. We have plenty of events on all year around and great discounts for all attractions from bus tours to pub crawls and an outdoors eating area too!

The Dublin hostel reception is open 24 hours a day all year round with FREE Wi-Fi access, making it the best place to stay when you want to visit Dublin hostels on a budget. We’re the only Hostel in Dublin with the HI-Quality Award and it shows! With its clean, comfy rooms and cosy atmosphere, you will be sure to enjoy your stay with us!
