Go Your Own Way - How It Works
The An Óige Reservations Team will pre book your first night’s accommodation for you in the Dublin International Hostel. On your arrival at the Dublin Hostel you will receive a Welcome Pack with all of your accommodation vouchers for your upcoming trip.
While pre booking hostel accommodation for the remainder of your trip is not essential, it is recommended, to guarantee that you get to stay in the An Óige Hostels that you wish to stay in. Each additional night MUST be booked directly by yourself when in Ireland either by emailing or calling the Hostel in question directly in advance and advising that you have a Go Your Own Way (formally Go As You Please) voucher.
The An Óige Reservations Team will only pre – book your first night’s accommodation. You will be required to provide credit card details to secure your booking. Once a booking is made, this is regarded as a confirmed reservation – failure to show up at the Hostel you have booked will result in your credit card being charged for this night’s accommodation.
Each voucher is worth one night's dorm accommodation at the hostel of your choice (subject to availability!). Should you wish to upgrade to a private room at the Hostel you may do so (also subject to availability, of course!) and the additional balance will need to be paid to the Hostel directly.
Sheet hire is included in all Hostels, with the exception of the Dun Chaoin Hostel in Co Kerry. Here, there is an extra €2.00 cost and this is paid directly to the Hostel.
Meals are not included in the voucher rates, apart from your first night in the Dublin International Hostel, where all guests receive a FREE continental breakfast.
Please note, and this is extremely important, that children under the age of 16 CANNOT stay in a shared dormitory in any of the An Óige Hostels. If there are children availing of this package they will need to upgrade to a private/family room where available and the pay the difference.
